O Click here for the 9 Olson brothers: Bob Olson, a Hancock businessman, is the "Dean of Broadcasters in all of college hockey". The Legendary Bob Olson was the radio voice of the Michigan Tech Huskies for over 30 years 1970-2000. His radio station, WMPL radio in Hancock, Mich, has served as the "clearinghouse for college hockey scores each and every night the game is played for two decades". The WCHA honored Olson with a Distinguished Service Award in 1997. Bob is a member of the Michigan Tech Sports Hall of Fame. There is an annual Bob Olson Award at Michigan Tech for the Top Newcomer.
